Rasoham 2019

September 28th & 29th

Featured internationally acclaimed artistes and raised funds for the Cauvery Calling Campaign. It was a conscious decision and a huge challenge to make it a ticketed event.

Rasoham received overwhelming response with packed halls on both days. The idea was to appreciate the culture of ‘Pay for Arts’ and create a self- sustainable event for the future as well. The festival featured Smt. Meenakshi Srinivasan (presented a solo Margam with live musicians), Sri. Praveen Kumar (presented two of his solo works Sakha & Ananga Vilasa) and Sri. Vaibhav Arekar (and his Sankhya Dance Company presented Srimant Yogi, a production on Shivaji Maharaj), and also featured two young talents Matangi and Divya. We had eminent artistes like Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi, Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar, Sri. Venugopal (Regional Director of ICCR) as chief guests.
